Since our pastor, Marcus Carruthers, started visiting the Washington CO, jail, myself, Rosie Reynolds and a few others have joined him. Hundreds of individuals have accepted Jesus Christ and have been baptized; now their lives will never be the same.

We need women to volunteer some of their time to minister to the inmates, to let them know that God Loves them, God will forgive them, and to pray for and with them. In this way we allow them to “Know Jesus Christ and Make him known” by encouraging them to share God’s love with others.

There are rules that we have to follow before being allowed to enter the jail setting such as:

• Orientation class
• Back ground check
• Finger printing

This has been an inspiring experience for me, touching the lives of women that have lost hope and pointing them to Jesus. Glory Be to God. I also encourage you to pray and consider joining our jail ministry today.
